Educator sought for Kildegården Børnehus - Are you ready to play, lead and lift as a team?

Can you provide direction, and can you get excited, even when there is mud on the boots, laughter in the rooms and 24 children, all eager to show you something at once?

Then you may be our new colleague at Kildegården's Kindergarten, part of the Childcare Institution HCA-Seden-Agedrup.

We are seeking a full-time pedagogue for Kildegården Børnehus. Currently employed in the kindergarten with children aged 2.9 - 6 years.

Kildegården - The place where children play, and the adults lead with heart and professionalism

Kildegården is an integrated day care with 33 toddlers in three groups and 66 kindergarten children in three groups. We live in a bright and inviting house on the edge of Vollsmose surrounded by good outdoor spaces and a staff team that is both professionally strong, engaged and humorous.

We are privileged to have a strong staffing level with about three pedagogues and one assistant attached to the groups. This allows us to create high pedagogical quality and present relationships.

We prioritize professional reflection and coordination through daily briefings and monthly group meetings during working hours.

We work purposefully with positions, clear areas of responsibility and present adults who actively participate in the children's play communities. We have play groups and use play schedules, so all children have the opportunity to participate in the community, also the children who need a little extra support along the way.

Right now we are particularly focused on developing our pedagogical practice based on Charlotte Runge's perspectives on the nervous system's importance for readiness to learn and Ulla Dyrløv's perspective on being a "pilot" in children's lives, as well as Gitte Bork's understanding of play positions and participation opportunities in children's communities.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement

The final salary is set according to local wage formation rules and depends on experience and qualifications

The position is 35 hours per week – the number of hours can possibly be negotiated

We are part of the Childcare Institution HCA-Seden/Agedrup and are part of a strong professional community with six other kindergartens: Evigglad, Fjordager, Fridasholm, Seden, Hvenekilden and Pilebækken. With us, play creates magic

The recruitment process consists of two interviews.

• First interview takes place in the kindergarten as a practical interview, focusing on relationships and interaction with children. You will be asked to initiate a short play with a group of children
• If there is a good match, you are subsequently invited to a second, more traditional interview. This interview will take place at Institutionsleder Malene Bundgaards' office on Ejby Kirkevej 15
