About Bosted Hyrdehøj

We are seeking a pedagogue with a twinkle in the eye, even when there are several balls in the air, for a small cozy residential service close to forest and town.

Bosted Hyrdehøj is a temporary 24/7 facility under SEL § 107 and provides a framework for 11 residents aged 18–51 with psychological challenges and substance use issues. The residents wish to work on themselves and their substance use problems.

We offer residents a structured, predictable and rehabilitative social-pedagogical effort with a focus on the individual’s recovery process. We support residents in an active daily life with a focus on well-being, independence and development, so that they can move forward in their own lives and their own housing within one to two years. We emphasize offering residents a holistic and individually designed program.

About the position

We need someone to fill the function of contact person, including in collaboration with the residents, to plan social-pedagogical activities. The work is based on realistic small measurable goals, ADL training including cooking in home-like settings, as well as a focus on employment.

In addition, as part of the resident’s stay, there will be close multidisciplinary collaboration with municipal, regional and other external actors. We emphasize active participation in a coordinating collaboration via the Coordinating Action Plan.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience working with people with psychiatric challenges, substance use issues or similar
• Has a relevant pedagogical education. In addition, we warmly welcome other competencies to support residents’ social and personal development through activities, possibly within crafts, music, creativity, nutrition, exercise, outdoor life or others.
• Is professionally and personally well-founded and has a clear professional engagement
• Contributes to individual planning and follow-up on residents’ goals with them
• Can plan targeted pedagogical programs in collaboration with the resident and document these programs together with the resident
• Has a professional and ambitious approach to problem-solving
• Is good at building relationships and has an appreciative approach
• Is empathetic and patient
• Has a positive view of people
• Has energy and a desire to do activities together with the residents
• Is empathetic, patient

Salary and employment

Your working hours will be shift-based, distributed across day, evening, night and weekend

The working time is 37 hours per week.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
