Educators for a fresh start in Læringshuset's day care - kindergarten

Are you a pedagogue and do you dream of creating the best conditions for a good childhood, then perhaps it is you we need in our kindergarten's new start and new narrative.

We are seeking nine trained pedagogues, and therefore both you and your best colleague or fellow student can apply for jobs in the same kindergarten, where you together can make a difference for children and parents.

Our kindergarten is currently being renovated, so you and your colleagues will have the opportunity to shape the physical spaces in a way that supports safety, well-being, and development in all children.

Our new premises are to be inaugurated and occupied by children and adults around mid-February 2027. In the lead-up to the opening, you and your colleagues will start about 14 days beforehand to ensure you have plenty of time to get to know each other, discuss and develop pedagogy, practice, structure, routines, collaboration, etc.

The day care is located in the Nærheden area and close to the scenic Hedeland, where you, your colleagues and the children can go out to sense and discover nature together. In Hedeland there are many opportunities for good nature experiences. You can, among other things, find edible, beautiful and interesting plants, fruits and seeds as well as search for small animals and insects.

The day care is in the middle of a new and cozy urban environment with small green oases, a main street with small shops such as a bakery, butchery, florist and library, a train station, etc., which provides good opportunities to give the children many good and educational experiences that awaken natural curiosity about the nearby environment.

Come by our kindergarten. You are welcome to drop by Læringshuset's day care, either on a day we arrange, or when we hold an open house for interested applicants. In the renovation of the kindergarten, the interior design has been considered so that we can offer the near and the safe for children and parents.

The day care will house five nursery groups and five kindergarten groups. In addition to group rooms for all, there are also small niches, a large motor skills hall, pedagogical kitchens in both nursery and kindergarten, a large theater, a completely new and unique playground.

Læringshusets day care is located in the same building as Læringshusets school, and we work closely with the school and the SFO (before- and after-school care) to create safe transitions for our joint children.

Læringshusets day care will continue to work project-oriented and based on 21st-century competencies. For us, this means that alongside relational work, we also work with LAHOPL, which is Legendary Authentic Hands-On Project-Based Learning. Academic rigor will be in focus so that the pedagogical quality is high and the environment for children is safe and development-oriented in both small and large communities. Therefore we have also decided that the pedagogical practice should take its starting point in NEST.

Especially with a focus on visual support, organization, group division, and focus on looking behind children's behavior and initiatives.

Your upcoming pedagogical leader looks forward to meeting you and will, during the onboarding period, get to know you well, so the collaboration becomes trusting and constructive. You will have a leader who is empathetic, present, and close to practice. Together with the pedagogical leader in the nursery, she is focused on supporting the development of a professionally strong and professional community that has an eye for what is good for children.

The management at Læringshusets day care will set the framework for the startup period and be involved in establishing sustainable structures and organization that give you and your colleagues the opportunity to keep focus on the children's learning, development, and well-being.

Together for the Kindergarten In Høje Taastrup Municipality, there is particular focus on ensuring a good establishment process for Læringshusets kindergarten, which means that you, your leader and your colleagues have 14 days together, during which you will gain in-depth knowledge of the childcare perspective that all day care in the municipality stands on, as well as an introduction to different approaches and methods used in the municipality. This includes NEST and COS, among others.

There will also be two fixed intervention pedagogues attached in the startup, who support the joint professional and social development.

The positions are, as a rule, full-time and with employment on 1 February 2027.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles. However, there will be an opportunity to negotiate the salary based on experience and competencies, but the collective agreement starting salary is 34,171.16 DKK per month plus pension.

In connection with employment, child and criminal records checks as well as references from previous employment will be obtained.
