At Børnehuset Planeten we are looking for an educator for Astra. The position is initially 37 hours per week, but the hourly amount can be negotiated.

We work with the starting point of the importance of relationships for children's well-being, development and learning. Therefore COS (Circle of Security) and Marte Meo are an important part of our pedagogical foundation and our work to create strong relationships and developmental interaction.

At the same time we are undertaking an exciting internal development program based on KIDS, where we together develop our learning environments based on the children we have. We believe that quality is created through reflection, curiosity and a practice that continuously develops.

Børnehuset Planeten is a large institution with many resources, competences and development opportunities. At the same time we are organized into four houses around a common yard, which creates an overview and intimate everyday life for both children and staff.

An everyday life with experiences and the world outside

We believe that children develop through experiences, curiosity and participation in the world around them.

Therefore we have our own bus, which daily makes it possible to go on trips outside the house. It could be to the forest, the beach, playgrounds, the Zoo, The Blue Planet or another place inspired by the children's interests and our pedagogical work.

The bus gives us freedom to create exciting learning environments and meaningful experiences together with the children.

Close, accessible and curious leadership

We believe that good leadership is created in the relationship with the staff.

At Planeten the leadership consists of an institutional head, a deputy head and a department head. That means the leadership is close to everyday life, easily accessible and ready to offer sparring, support and professional discussions.

As an employee at Planeten you have flexible prep time. Although the position is 37 hours, you are initially scheduled for only 35.5 hours. The remaining preparation time you allocate yourself and it is not planned by management. We believe in trust, responsibility and professional latitude.
