Electrician for the Energy Plant in Aalborg at Nordværk Affaldsenergi A/S

About the job

As an electrician at the Energy Plant you help ensure stable operation of the plant's electrical installations. A large part of the work consists of fault finding on process equipment and replacement of components, but you also contribute to planning of tasks, coordinating service visits and developing the plant's technical solutions.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Fault finding on PLCs, controls and SRO systems
• Fault finding in switchboards and processing equipment
• Operation and maintenance of the plant's electrical installations and switchgear
• Working with frequency converters, motor controls and process equipment
• Flow and energy meters as well as other instrumentation
• Emissions equipment and emissions reporting
• Technical documentation
• Procurement of spare parts and components
• Participation in projects and upgrades of the plant

You will become part of our maintenance team of 12 employees, where you work across disciplines. In the electrician group there are 3 colleagues.

The position is part of an on-call duty arrangement, which is shared between the electrician team. The on-call rotation is on a shift basis, and you will typically have on-call duties every third week.

• Have a relevant electrical background, e.g. as an electrician or electrical installer
• Have experience with operation, maintenance and fault finding on industrial plants
• Thrive with independent responsibility and technical challenges
• Are collaborative and actively contribute to the community
• Are flexible and solution-oriented

It is an advantage if you have experience with PLC controls and SCADA systems, operation of larger plants, and have participated in an on-call arrangement.
