Admission September 2026 for students with a gymnasium background 8-week program starting on 9.12.26

The majority of students start with a GF2. The program lasts 20 weeks, depending on your educational background. If you have a gymnasium education, your GF2 will be shortened so it only lasts 8 weeks.

A completed GF2 gives access to the main course for the education you apply for, SSH or SSA. You can find more information about the SSH and SSA education on SosuFyn's website.

You must apply for admission to GF2 before you apply for an apprenticeship with us. Admission to the basic course is applied for at the Sosu school via optagelse.dk.

After applying on optagelse.dk, you will be contacted by a counselor from SOSUFyn, and have your personal education plan prepared via an RKV (assessment of real competences).

Your education plan must be attached to your application to us, or include the date of your RKV at the Sosu school. Then you are ready to apply for an apprenticeship with Svendborg Municipality. When you apply for an apprenticeship, you must attach your motivated application, the education plan and an updated CV.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement

Ordinary apprentice wage

SSH 14,325.21 DKK

SSA Step 1 15,822.54 DKK / month Step 2 18,026.45 DKK / month

Adult apprentice wage ; 25,121.92 DKK/month

Adult trainee wage ; 25,121.92 DKK /month

You will receive pay throughout the education, both when you are in on-the-job training and during school periods
