Employee for repair and rebuilding in Holstebro

Are you hands-on, and do you thrive with repairs, troubleshooting and building solutions for the transport industry?

With us you don't just work on one type of task. You will get close to troubleshooting, repair, assembly and building – and see the solution work in practice.

Become part of the workshop in Holstebro

SAWO in Holstebro is seeking a skilled and engaged colleague for our workshop. You will work with both repair, service and assembly of equipment for trucks, and you will have a varied daily routine with good opportunities to use your technical skills.

We solve tasks in close collaboration and with a focus on quality, safety and proper craftsmanship. The most important is that the customer gets a reliable solution that works in practice.

Your tasks

You will become part of an experienced workshop team, where tasks range from smaller repairs to complete builds. Depending on your experience and your competences you will, among other things,

• perform service, maintenance and repairs
• troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
• install and build equipment and solutions on trucks
• carry out adaptation, assembly and possibly welding work
• test and quality assure the work before handover
• collaborate with colleagues to get tasks safely and efficiently completed
• From fault finding to finished solution
• Task → fault finding → repair or build → test → delivery

You will have both independent responsibility and professional sparring. Some tasks are completed quickly, while others require patience, precision and creative problem solving. What they have in common is that the quality must be right.

Is it you we are looking for?

Your educational background may vary. Perhaps you are a truck mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, blacksmith or have built up comparable experience through your career.

We also imagine that you

• have technical understanding and can see solutions when the task is tricky
• have experience with repair, assembly or construction
• work thoroughly and take responsibility for the quality of your work
• can work independently and at the same time be a good team player
• have an eye for safety and order in the workshop
• meet customers and colleagues with a helpful and professional approach
• have a driver's license for a passenger car

You don't need to know everything from day one. The most important is that you have solid technical understanding, a desire to learn and pride in your craft.

Therefore choose SAWO

• A varied workday with both repairs and new builds
• A strong professional environment with experienced and helpful colleagues
• Modern products and the possibility to work with several technical disciplines
• Freedom with responsibility and room to use your professional skills
• Good opportunities for onboarding and professional development
• Fair employment terms, arranged according to qualifications
