About the job

With expected start in the first quarter of 2027

Do you want to help create new opportunities on the labor market for people who need a special intervention?

At the Institute for Mental Health (IFMS), we are in positive development with new collaborations and growing demand for our employment-focused efforts.

We expect the need to grow further in the early part of 2027, and therefore we want to start a dialogue now with skilled and engaged employment consultants who want to become part of our team.

About the job

As an employment consultant at IFMS you will work to develop and strengthen citizens' opportunities to obtain or maintain a connection to the labor market.

You will be responsible for your own citizen pathways, where, based on the individual citizen's resources, challenges and opportunities, you work purposefully with clarification, development and progression.

You largely plan your own workday and have great influence on how you solve your tasks. The work takes place both with the citizens, out at companies and with documentation and follow-up. Travel is therefore a natural part of the job, and there is also the possibility for remote work when tasks allow.

Your tasks will include

  • Individual employment-oriented pathways focusing on resources, functional capacity and labor market attachment.
  • Proactive outreach to companies and establishment of company internships and other employment opportunities.
  • Follow-up on company-oriented pathways focusing on well-being, accommodations and progression.
  • Description and documentation of the citizen's work capacity, resources and development opportunities.
  • Close dialogue and collaboration with municipal caseworkers, companies and other partners.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with IFMS' other professional groups, including psychologists, physiotherapists and other health professionals.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience in the employment field and thrive in working with people who for various reasons have difficulty finding or maintaining a foothold in the labor market.

You may, for example, have a background as an employment consultant, social worker, social educator or another relevant professional qualification. The most important is that you have the right experience, professional approach and motivation for the task.

We particularly emphasize that you

  • Have experience with employment-oriented initiatives and preferably collaboration with companies.
  • Are good at building trusting relationships with both citizens and companies.
  • Can work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented way with your own citizen pathways.
  • Have an eye for people's resources and the concrete demands and opportunities in the labor market.
  • Can translate observations and professional assessments into precise and usable written documentation.
  • Thrive in a flexible workday where tasks are largely solved where the citizens and companies are.
  • Appreciate professional sparring and interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues from different professional areas.

What do we offer?

At IFMS you become part of an organization where mental health, functional capacity and employment are integrated.

We believe that good results are created through professionalism, strong relationships and individually tailored efforts, where there is both an eye for the citizen's challenges and the opportunities that can be developed.

We offer

  • An independent role with great influence on planning your workday.
  • A flexible workplace with the possibility of remote work.
  • A cross-disciplinary environment with good opportunities for professional sparring and development.
  • A daily life with variation, responsibility and the opportunity to make a concrete difference for people.

Where in the country?

Our activities are primarily concentrated in Central and Southern Jutland, and we therefore particularly seek candidates affiliated with these areas.

At the same time, new collaborations can create opportunities in other parts of the country, and we are therefore also interested in hearing from suitable candidates outside these areas.

Do you want to be part of IFMS?

We expect an increased need for employment consultants at the beginning of 2027 and therefore want to start a dialogue with relevant candidates now.

The concrete employment and start date will depend on the development of our collaborations and tasks.

Send us your application and your CV, in which you tell us about your professional background, your experiences and your motivation to work at IFMS.

If you have questions about the position or opportunities at IFMS, you are welcome to contact Jesper at 44 12 81 06 .

We look forward to hearing from you!
