Enthusiastic teacher for a fixed-term position until the summer holidays in art (2nd grade), English, history and German (intermediate) at Herningsholmskolen

Herningsholmskolen seeks a skilled, qualified teacher for 37 hours per week with commencement on 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Herningsholmskolen is centrally located in Herning city with approximately 550 happy students, of whom about 65 children attend our special department for students with general learning difficulties and about 80 children attend our department at Holtbjerg. The school has about 110 staff from different professional groups.

The school is characterized by placing great emphasis on community, we prioritise professionalism and view diversity as a significant strength. There is a friendly and warm tone of interaction among students, parents and staff, between colleagues themselves and between management and employees, which we experience as a prerequisite for well-being for both children and adults.

As mentioned, we are looking for a teacher who can teach visual arts, history, English and German. Here you will be part of a strong team in year 6, and you will have some skilled colleagues to spar with.

You must be inclusive, cooperative and good at communicating with students, parents, colleagues and management. At the same time you must be passionate about your subjects and the students' learning, development and well-being. At all grade levels there is close collaboration with the other teachers in the year group, and it is therefore also expected that you are willing to share and discuss your experiences with your colleagues.
