Construction manager for the carpentry department

At EMR Murer & Entreprenør A/S we are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee construction projects with in-house carpentry production.

Responsibilities and areas of work

As a project manager you will be responsible for our in-house production on a number of exciting construction projects. You ensure progress, quality, economy and safety and become an important part of the collaboration between the construction site, project management, the client and consultants.

Your tasks include, among others

• Management of carpentry contracts with responsibility for daily operations and planning.
• Coordination of employees and internal resources on the construction site.
• Monitoring of schedules, quality and finances.
• Planning of material deliveries and logistics.
• Quality assurance with support from EMR’s internal QA department including DS1140.
• Responsibility for site safety with support from EMR’s occupational safety organization.
• Contribute to a good and trusting collaboration with the client, consultants, subcontractors and other partners.

Our wishes and expectations of you

The position can be approached from several professional backgrounds. We would like you to have a background as a carpenter, supplemented by an education as a building constructor, building technician or similar. The most important thing, however, is your experience in managing carpentry contracts, your commitment and your ability to collaborate.

Work area

EMR executes projects across Denmark in both trade-, main- and turnkey contracts. You will therefore be part of the construction management on EMR’s own projects with responsibility for the carpentry contract, just as you will lead independent specialist-subcontract packages for external clients and partners.

The size and complexity of the contracts typically range from 5 to 80 million DKK, which provides both technical and managerial challenges and a varied daily life.
