About the job

The concrete industry plays a crucial role in Denmark's infrastructure, resilience and climate action. Concrete has for decades been a cornerstone in the development of modern society, and it is difficult to imagine future construction without concrete as an important material.

At the same time, the industry is in the midst of a significant development. The requirements for the climate footprint of construction are being tightened, digitalization is accelerating, and companies are working purposefully to develop solutions that use resources more responsibly and contribute to a more sustainable construction.

The Concrete Elements Association brings together almost all producers of concrete elements in Denmark and plays a central role in the industry's development, including sustainability, standardization, regulation and competency development. Therefore we are seeking an experienced senior consultant with solid professional grounding who can unite the industry around joint initiatives and drive development projects, professional activities and collaborations across companies and stakeholders.

You have the ability to translate complex issues into concrete results and will play a central role in strengthening the position of concrete element building and contribute to the development of future construction.

The job

You will become part of Dansk Beton and an engaged team of five employees consisting of consultants and press and communications colleagues. Together we work to create the best framework for the concrete industry and its member companies. You will also have a close collaboration with colleagues in DI Byggeri and become part of a strong professional environment focused on development, knowledge sharing and advocacy.

Your main tasks will be

  • Drive and develop the Concrete Elements Association's activities and initiatives.
  • Support the board and the association's technical committee and ensure progress on decisions and projects.
  • Lead development projects and coordinate collaboration with companies, research environments and external partners.
  • Participate in research and development projects in the concrete sector.
  • Represent the interests of members in national and international committees, boards and collaboration fora.
  • Plan and carry out member events, webinars, information meetings and networking activities.
  • Contribute to the industry's work with green transition, standardization, regulation and competency development.

Who are you?

You are motivated by delivering results together with others and have documented experience in driving projects, building support among diverse stakeholders and turning ambitions into action.

We imagine that you have a relevant higher education, for example as an engineer, designer/contractor, architect, cand.techn.soc. or similar, as well as a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.

You come with solid professional grounding and practical experience in several of the areas the role covers, and you can handle complex problems and translate them into solutions that create value for both companies and the industry.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience with project management and coordination of initiatives with many stakeholders.
  • Work in a structured way and are able to create an overview, even when tasks are complex.
  • Are proactive and persistent and motivated to develop new solutions and deliver results.
  • Are strong at building relationships and collaborating across organizations and disciplines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Have an interest in or experience with concrete, construction, technical standards or sustainability.

We offer

With us you get a versatile job with a lot of freedom and the opportunity to make a clear impact on the development of an important industry. You will get close to the companies, decisions and the agendas that shape the future of construction.

You will become part of a professionally strong environment with engaged colleagues, good opportunities for personal and professional development and a flexible workplace centrally located in Industriens Hus in the heart of Copenhagen. In addition we offer attractive employment terms and the possibility of remote work.
