Do you want to use your dispatching experience in a team with strong expertise, good camaraderie and freedom to make decisions? At LEMAN you get responsibility for your own transport portfolio and the opportunity to influence the development of our Germany traffic.

You work with part loads and full loads and become part of a department with 18 competent colleagues. Six dispatchers work with Germany. We collaborate across, share customers and vehicles and help each other when the day demands extra effort.

The department has been in positive development over the recent years. You will play a central role in continuing that development and ensuring transport solutions that create value for both customers and LEMAN.

Your day-to-day with us

You will be responsible for your own transport portfolio on the Germany traffic and have great autonomy in daily dispatching. You are close to customers, hauliers and colleagues and make the decisions that make service, operations and profitability come together.

Your tasks include

• Plan and dispatch part loads and full loads on the Germany traffic
• Coordinate with customers, hauliers and colleagues across the department
• Ensure good capacity utilization, stable transports and punctual deliveries
• Handle changes and find solutions when plans are challenged
• Contribute to developing the traffic and improving our workflows

You will have the opportunity to shape how the tasks are solved, and develop professionally in close collaboration with experienced colleagues.

What you bring

You have experience as a dispatcher in road transport and thrive taking responsibility in a daily life where both overview and quick decisions are important.

We imagine that you

• Have experience with dispatching – preferably for Germany or another nearby market
• Have a good commercial overview and sense for the balance between service and profitability
• Work in a structured way and keep track of details, even when plans change
• Communicate in English with customers and partners – German is not required
• Contribute to good collaboration and help your colleagues when needed

Your experience does not have to be from exactly the same traffic. We are interested in hearing how you can contribute with your professionalism and your engagement.

The working hours are generally from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. However transports do not always follow office hours, so you should be prepared to occasionally handle tasks outside normal working hours to follow your transports to the door.
