Experienced Structural Engineer for ISC in Kalundborg

Technical community and diverse tasks

You will join a small team that is a mix of both graduates and colleagues with long seniority. You will become part of a department that focuses on delivering high quality and professional sparring, and in addition you will participate in cross-disciplinary cooperation with our seven geographically spread-out departments in Denmark, where you will experience a wide interface in the organization.

Our projects span a wide range within construction, industry and infrastructure, and you will have ample opportunity to work with diverse tasks.

Your tasks

We are seeking a competent engineer for the design of timber, concrete and steel structures, and we see you in the role of building- or section-design engineer.

Your daily tasks will include

• Calculations of constructions, including geotechnical structures.
• Design of connection details.
• Preparation of static documentation.

We work project-oriented, and the work is carried out in close collaboration in project groups, where we collaborate with engineers from other disciplines as well as the client. You will have the opportunity to develop into a technical leader or project manager if this is a desire.

Your qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should bring solid experience as a structural engineer and thrive with project-oriented work. You must have the ability to organize and handle several tasks with different deadlines simultaneously while ensuring progress in the projects.

It is also important that you have good collaboration skills and value working closely as a team, where we achieve good results through knowledge sharing and a proactive approach to projects.

We expect that

• You are a graduate engineer with a specialty in load-bearing constructions (diploma or civil).
• You have several years of professional experience as a consultant.
• You have good static understanding and are familiar with preparing static documentation in accordance with SBi 271.
• You have good written and spoken Danish communication skills.

It is advantageous, but not a requirement, if

• You have experience as a building-structure designer.
• You have experience with the software MatchCad, Autodesk ROBOT or Revit
• You have project management experience or similar.
