Experienced employee for piglets

Do you have experience with piglets, and do you thrive with responsibility and an independent workday? Then we offer a permanent position where you will have the daily responsibility for our piglet production from 7 to 30 kg.

We run a herd of 975 sows near Dybvad. After weaning, the piglets are moved to our property near Præstbro, where they are cared for until they are sold at 30 kg. You will be part of a workplace with modern stall facilities, which have been continuously renovated and expanded.

You will have great freedom to plan and structure the working day. The position is essentially full-time with a focus on the piglets, but depending on your competences and interests it can be combined with tasks in the sow herd.

You will become part of a small team consisting of the owner and three employees in the sow herd. On a daily basis you will have a lot of independence, but you have the opportunity for sparring or help from your colleagues.

Your tasks

• Daily care and supervision of the piglets
• Focus on health, welfare, feed and production
• Registration and follow-up on production results
• Possible tasks in the sow herd depending on experience and interest

We imagine that you

• Have practical experience with pig care – preferably piglets
• Show up reliably and take responsibility for the daily tasks
• Work systematically and keep things in order around you
• Can plan and carry out tasks on your own
• Can communicate in Danish in daily work
