Experienced Field Service Technician

Traveling technician with experience and technical insight into production plants.

You will become an integral part of the assembly department that works with many different tasks both in the workshop and out in the world.

The tasks consist of assembling units, testing, installation, commissioning and handover of plants to the end customer, as well as servicing of already delivered plants.

After completing the assembly of the plant at the workshop, you have the most important role in terms of making each project a success story.

When the units have been delivered to the customer, you travel out to install them, often with help from the customer or subcontractors, advise the customer's electricians on the electrical installation, plan and carry out commissioning of the plant, optimize capacity, and train the customer's operators in the use and maintenance of the plant.

Main tasks

• Assemble and test components for filtration units at the workshop and at the customer's site.
• Assemble, service and optimize plants at new and existing customers
• Half of the time will be at our own workshop and the rest with customers. Thus, expected travel days per year are around 80-100 days.

Qualifications

You must be technically strong and preferably have experience as a traveling technician from a similar position.

You have a craft background, such as machinist, metalworker, electrician, etc.

Experience with and skills in TIG welding, and stainless steel will be considered an advantage.

English you master in speech as the customers are mainly foreign. You are self-driven and action-oriented, and you are able to keep going when things don’t go smoothly on the installations.
