About the job

Do you have experience with regulatory work, can you navigate the legislation confidently, and are you keen to use your experience for more than just handling the next case in the stack?

We are looking for two experienced case handlers who want to solve complex tasks, contribute to professional development, and help develop our workflow in this area.

We would like you to have experience with building case processing, but it is not a requirement. Maybe you have worked with regulatory tasks in the environment, roads, or another legal area. The most important thing is that you know the authority's role, are used to working with legislation and decisions, and want to bring your competencies into play.

We know that good regulatory processing requires more than knowledge of the right statutes. It also requires a service-oriented approach, which presupposes professional judgment, an overview, good communication skills, and the ability to create a process where the applicant knows what they need to relate to.

Use your experience – and help develop our professional competence

We are not just looking for an experienced employee who can tackle their own cases. We also want a colleague who wants to share their experience, ask questions, and contribute to us as a team becoming even better.

You will be responsible for your own cases and have the opportunity to work independently. At the same time, you will be part of a professional community where we use each other for sparring and development.

We do not expect you to come in and change everything on day one. But we would like you to be curious about whether we can do things smarter, more simply and more predictably – for both ourselves and those who rely on our regulatory processing.

If you have experience with building case processing, you can contribute with your professional insight and experience from concrete cases. If you come from another regulatory area, you will have the opportunity to build on your experience with case processing, decisions, and the authority role while getting to know the building case area.

We are open to both profiles because we believe that the right competencies can come from several places.

The tasks in Team Building Case are varied. If you are hungry to tackle complicated cases, then the redevelopment of Holstebro Hospital with more than 100,000 m2 is a potential task you can help us with. If you prefer to tackle less complicated cases, we also need help with these tasks.

We also want to develop the way we work

Building case processing involves many rules, documents, information, and repetitive workflows. Therefore we see a potential to investigate how AI and other digital tools can support our work.

Where can technology help us find and structure information? How can we strengthen quality assurance? And which workflows can we simplify so that we have more time for the tasks where our professional judgments and the dialogue with applicants are decisive?

You do not need to be an expert in AI or digitalization. The most important thing is that you are curious, willing to challenge familiar workflows, and eager to test new possibilities with a critical eye for both quality, responsibility, and legal certainty.

We are looking for you who …

  • has solid experience with case processing, preferably from a municipality or another public authority
  • understands the authority role and can make decisions on a professional and legally sound basis, while keeping good service in mind
  • can create overview, structure, and progress in complex cases
  • communicates clearly and understandably, both in writing and orally, and thrives in dialogue with citizens, businesses, advisors, and other professional actors
  • wants to be a professional sparring partner for colleagues and contribute to the team's development
  • sees collaboration as a prerequisite for good regulatory processing.

We do not expect you to know everything from day one. But we expect you to have solid experience to build on, and to be eager to bring it into active use.

In return, we offer you

  • Professional challenges:

You will work with building cases of varying nature, including complex development tasks such as the redevelopment of Holstebro Hospital.

  • Influence

You will have the opportunity to shape both your own task solving and the way we work with building case processing.

  • Professional sparring

You will become part of an experienced team where we want to share knowledge, challenge each other, and help each other forward.

  • Opportunity to develop something new

You can contribute to testing AI and digital tools and explore how we can improve our workflows.

  • Freedom with responsibility

We trust that experienced employees take responsibility for their tasks and plan their work independently.

  • A good collegial community

We have an open and informal tone, help each other in daily life, and room for a good laugh – or a padel match.
