Esbjerg Kulturskole seeks a singing teacher

At Kulturskolen Esbjerg there is a vacancy for a singing teacher with appointment from 1 January 2027. The position is as a rule 6 hours per week.

Teaching takes place on Mondays at Danmarksgade School, which is soon moving to Stormgade and changing its name to Stormgade School.

We are looking for a pedagogical, well-educated and engaged instructor who is interested in:

• Working with children and young people
• Working across genres
• Joining a well-functioning teaching team
• Co-developing a local music environment
• In employment, subject- and teacher meetings etc.

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the provisions on local salary formation. Kulturskolen Esbjerg, Islandsgade 50, offers teaching in music, dance, visual arts and theatre – primarily to children and young people under 25 years in departments in Esbjerg, Ribe and Bramming. Furthermore, a large part of music teaching takes place at the municipality's public schools. Kulturskolen Esbjerg also offers teaching in Musical Foundation Course, Visual Arts Foundation Course, Interdisciplinary Foundation Course and Theatre Foundation Course.
