Your role as a social and health care assistant

As a social and health care assistant in our evening team, you will play an important part in the daily life of our citizens in Albertslund.

You will work independently with citizens at their homes, but at the same time be part of a team where we help each other, share our knowledge, and ensure good task execution.

You will among other things handle personal care, practical assistance, and other relevant care tasks. You work based on the individual citizen's needs with a focus on ensuring that the citizen experiences continuity, dignity, and security.

Evening shifts require that you can maintain an overview and work structured, also when changes or unforeseen situations arise. You must also be eager to be an active part of the team and contribute to a good working environment.

Your main tasks

• Provide personal care and practical help to citizens
• Work based on the principle of holistic care
• Establish security and continuity for the citizens
• Observe changes in the citizens' condition and respond appropriately
• Document your observations and interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professional groups around the citizen
• Contribute to good professional and collegial cooperation
• Help ensure quality in our interventions

About you

• You are a trained social and health care assistant
• You want to work in home care
• You can work independently and at the same time be a good team player
• You are responsible, reliable, and flexible
• You have a good overview and can stay calm in a busy everyday life
• You have good communication skills and can speak and understand Danish clearly
• You have a driving license, as the work takes place at citizens' homes

Experience from home care is an advantage, but the most important for us is that you want to make a difference and contribute positively to our team.

Working conditions

The position is in our evening team in Albertslund.

• Working hours: 15:00-23:00
• Opportunity for 7-7 scheduling
• We are seeking staff for both even and odd weeks
• Pension according to FOA agreement
