Excavation helper

A position as a graver's assistant at Gerding-Blenstrup parishes in the Rebild Deanery is available from 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is 37 hours per week, with a five-day work week.

This is a permanent, indefinable employment, with two months of home leave during the winter period.

The graver's assistant shall, together with our dedicated graver, be responsible for the maintenance of our two cemeteries, the parsonage garden, and perform church service duties when the graver is off duty. The churches are located at Gerding Church, Sct. Jørgensvej 5, 9520 Skørping and Blenstrup Church, Tinghusvej 5, Blenstrup, 9520 Skørping.

Employment is with the Gerding-Blenstrup Parish Council, Blenstrup Kirkevej 2A, 9520 Skørping.

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the agreement for graver's assistants at village cemeteries made between the Ministry of Church Affairs and the Fagligt Fælles Forbund (3F).

The annual salary for graver's assistants without horticultural education is DKK 302,054 (Step 1) and DKK 307,463 (Step 2) (current kroner).

The annual salary for graver's assistants with horticultural education is DKK 340,364 (Step 1) and DKK 350,472 (Step 2) (current kroner).
