A gardener position/gardener assistant position at Vejen Church

The position as gardener/gardener assistant at Vejen Cemeteries, Vejen Parish is available and can be taken up as soon as possible.

The position is 37 hours per week.

The work includes

· maintenance and care of Askov, Læborg and Vejen Cemeteries. The work is carried out together with the other staff at the cemetery

· hedge trimming

· lawn mowing

· cleaning of gravesites and areas

· construction tasks in the form of grave site development and changes in park areas

· pruning tasks of shrubs and trees

· driving with mini loader, small excavator, forklift, leaf vacuum and other machines at the cemeteries

We have an up-to-date fleet of machinery for handling the tasks both at the cemetery and for coffin handling in the chapel and church.

Employment is carried out by Vejen Parish Council, located at Nørregade 96, 6600 Vejen.

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the Central Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organization (OAO-S) and the Collective Agreement for agricultural assistants, gardener workers, gardeners and trial workers concluded between the Ministry of Finance and the Trade Union Confederation (3F). The agreements can be found at www.folkekirkenspersonale.dk .

The annual salary for gardeners is 325,618 DKK (step 1) and 335,368 DKK (step 2) (current prices). For gardener workers 283,607 DKK (step 1) and 291,526 DKK (step 2) (current prices). Pay is hourly, and after 5 months of uninterrupted employment with the same employer there is a transition to monthly salaried employment. The parish council will determine placement based on seniority.
