About the job

Family House, Children-, Youth- and Family Interventions, is seeking an experienced contact person.

Are you passionate about making a difference for at-risk youth? Then you might be our new one. We are looking for an experienced and engaged contact person who, with professionalism and presence, can support young people in vulnerable life situations.

The position is 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027.

If you are our new colleague, we would very much like to hear from you.

About Family House

Family House is a multidisciplinary offering consisting of family therapists, youth psychologists, contact persons and a specialized infant team. We work with children, youths and families who need support to create positive changes and increased well-being in daily life.

Our staff are organized into district teams, where we collaborate closely across disciplines and interventions. Together we create holistic solutions based on the needs, resources and goals of the family and the young person. We believe that the best results are achieved through strong relationships, high professional quality and close collaboration with families and our partners.

Contact Person Initiative

The intervention offering is primarily for young people aged 12-22 years with a need for support and treatment. The interventions are planned based on the young person’s needs and can consist of both individual programs and group-based offerings. In the coming years we want to strengthen our group interventions further, as we see great potential in the importance of communities for well-being, development and positive changes.

At the same time we work purposefully to involve the family and other significant relationships around the young person to create lasting and sustainable solutions. The goal is to support the young person in mastering their own life and moving toward increased independence and participation in communities.

Your daily life

As a Contact Person with us, your tasks will be focused on conducting therapeutic and developmental conversations and practical pedagogical support. The interventions take place both at the family’s home and/or in the “House,” depending on what makes sense for the task. In addition, your primary tasks include

  • Practical pedagogical support and treatment-oriented interventions.
  • Holistic approach, possibly in collaboration with a family therapist.
  • Resource-oriented work by involving the family’s own network and professional networks.
  • Develop treatment plans. (We work solution-focused and structured based on the holistic work model – DHA). Each professional team has a DHA mentor/advisor.
  • Youth group interventions.
  • The contact person’s tasks will also take place, for example at Brødeskov dormitory (here up to 7 youths and an emergency room live) Skanse apartments (1-2 youths per apartment), and the 3 apartments at Frederiksbro. (Here 2 youths live per apartment). This includes participating in a fixed rotation around afternoon check-ins at Brødeskov.
  • Self-understanding programs. (e.g., within autism and ADHD).

With us you get

We work with a clear aim to create an exciting, meaningful and varied workday where high professional quality goes hand in hand with well-being and job satisfaction.

As an employee with us you will experience

  • Skilled and engaged colleagues with opportunities for professional sparring and reflection in the team.
  • Ongoing supervision and support for your professional development.
  • A strong interdisciplinary collaboration across contact persons, family therapists, psychologists and infant team.
  • Opportunity to work creatively and flexibly in planning interventions based on the individual young person’s needs.
  • Focus on professional development, training and relevant competency development programs, including courses in self-understanding programs and group-based interventions.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the development of new offerings and community-oriented interventions for children and youths.
  • A workplace with a high degree of independence, trust and professional influence.
  • A strong focus on the work environment, well-being and community, where we prioritise getting along and lifting tasks together.

About you

We envision that you are educated as a social educator (or possibly another relevant social-professional education), with relevant experience and great commitment to working with at-risk youth. From time to time you will experience working with resistance, which is why it is important that you are robust and thrive in this field.

In addition, it is important to us

  • That you are prepared for flexible working hours, as work with children, youths and families sometimes requires activities outside normal working hours, and that this is arranged with your home front.
  • That you have an understanding of the written and administrative part of the work (status reports, etc.).
  • That you are a pronounced team player, but at the same time also thrive working alone when tasks call for it.
  • That you are open to sparring and feedback, and at the same time able to give feedback, knowledge sharing, etc. with an appreciative approach.
  • Can connect theory and practice. We primarily work from narrative, systemic, cognitive and affective theory (based on neuroaffective developmental psychology).
  • Driving license, as a number of families also live in more rural areas. Brødeskov is also a bit outside Hillerød. Ideally your own car.

Salary and employment terms

This is a full-time position of 37 hours with flex time. The hours are between 8-21. Supplements accompany this flexibility. Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for your field and other agreements. A qualification allowance can be negotiated for special qualifications.

Application deadline

If you are interested in the position, please send your application no later than November 25, 2026.

We will hold interviews on November 30 in the time slot 8:00-15:00.

Invitations to the interview will be sent by SMS in the afternoon November 26, 2026.

You send your application and CV along with relevant educational documents, seniority certificate (usually appearing on the payslip).
