Our responsibility: ”Basic IT-Support”

Our team is Aalborg Municipality's central Service Desk. We take care of Incident Management and Service Request Management for the basic IT infrastructure in use across the entire municipality, including:

• PC workspace hardware/software
• Mobile Devices (smartphones and tablets – IOS/Android)
• Microsoft 365
• Identity and access management (MitID, Entra ID, AD, IAM/IDM systems, Business Administration, SKAT, and others)
• Basic network services
• Print
• AV and meeting room facilities

We are looking for you who

• Have at least 5 years of experience in IT support or similar position
• Enjoy helping others
• Can maintain overview and mood when pace is high
• Want to be part of a professional and social community

We imagine you have a education as IT support technician, data technician or other relevant IT background. But you can also have acquired the competencies in another way.

Fluent Danish in speech and writing is a requirement.

What do *you* think are important competencies for an IT-supporter?

Do you like challenges?

As with most jobs, the position as IT-supporter offers challenges, big and small. Aalborg Municipality as an employer is a large organization, where it takes time to learn and navigate. The municipality's employees embrace a huge range of tasks and have countless needs and use scenarios for IT. It can be difficult, but also very exciting, to be confronted with new situations on a daily basis.

We are in a period of large changes in IT and digitalization, where we learn to work more process-oriented while we grow with the tasks such as NIS2 compliance, formation of regional companies for IT operations, and much more.

We think we are good at tackling problems in a joint effort. It certainly won't be boring!

Salary and terms of employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment, 37 hours / week.

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary fixation occurs after negotiations with the union with the right to negotiate based on qualifications.

Prior to final employment a criminal record check as well as references will be obtained.

Aalborg Municipality is a smoke-free workplace – smoking is not allowed during working hours.

Additional information

Your primary workplace is Danmarksgade 17A, 9000 Aalborg, but we also have four satellite locations where we are physically present twice a week.
