About the job

Student Assistant – Netto IT Support

Do you have a knack for IT, a natural service mindset and a desire for a student job where you make a difference every single day? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for!

At Netto we are looking for an engaged student assistant for our IT Support at the head office in Køge. Here you will have the opportunity to translate your IT interest into practical experience in an exciting and varied everyday life, where no day is necessarily the same.

As part of the Salling Group, Netto has more than 500 stores in Denmark, and behind the daily operation is, among other things, our IT department, which helps ensure that the technology functions so that our colleagues can focus on the most important thing: creating great experiences for our customers.

Become part of the team behind the operation

You will become part of an IT department with 18 dedicated colleagues spread across IT Support, IT Operations and IT projects.

In IT Support we are an important partner for our stores, administration and warehouses. We help when technology misbehaves, find solutions and ensure that our colleagues can quickly continue with their work.

We have high ambitions, an informal tone, and a shared pride in delivering competent and professional service – even when the pace is high.

Your tasks – variety, responsibility and plenty of learning

As our new student assistant, you will become an important part of the daily IT support, where you will among other things have to:

  • Provide telephone IT support to our stores, the administration in Køge, and our two warehouses.
  • Help with troubleshooting and support for the various IT systems used in our stores.
  • Handle and follow up on inquiries so our colleagues get the help they need.
  • Contribute to various ad hoc tasks in the department.

You don't need to know all the answers in advance. The most important thing is that you are curious, eager to learn and motivated by finding solutions that make everyday life easier for others.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are currently studying and have a natural interest in IT and technology. Maybe you already have experience with IT support, maybe you are the type that friends and family call when the technology acts up.

For us, your approach and motivation are at least as important as your experience.

We hope that you

  • Have a good understanding of IT and a desire to develop your skills.
  • Are service-minded, patient and good at communicating with different people.
  • Can stay calm and maintain an overview, even when several tasks require your attention.
  • Work in a structured manner, take responsibility and see your tasks through to completion.
  • Speak and write fluent Danish.
  • Are flexible with regard to working hours.

If you have experience from retail – and perhaps even from Netto – that is a clear advantage, as you already understand the everyday life we support. However, it's not a requirement.

And of course, we hope you will contribute with good humor, commitment and the desire to be part of the team.

What do you get with us?

You get more than just a student job. You get the opportunity to gain practical experience with IT support in a large organization where your tasks have a direct impact on many people's workdays.

We offer you

  • An exciting and versatile student job of 13 hours per week with the possibility of extra hours during busy periods.
  • Practical experience with IT systems, support and problem solving.
  • An engaged team of capable colleagues who help each other and share their knowledge.
  • A daily life with responsibility, development opportunities and room to ask questions.
  • An informal culture where we work seriously with our tasks, but also have room for a good laugh.
  • Attractive employee terms as part of the Salling Group.

Working hours and location

Your workplace will be Netto's head office in Køge.

Working hours are generally 13 hours per week and will be distributed across varying shifts between 06:30 and 18:00. You must be prepared that the work also includes weekends and holidays, as our support must be available when the stores need us.

Are you ready to make a difference behind the scenes?

Then we look forward to hearing from you!

If you have questions about the position, you are very welcome to contact Team Leader Stine Ulfkjær Johansen on the phone number 87 78 73 43.

We process applications on an ongoing basis, so please send your application as soon as possible.
