About the job
Do you have a passion for personnel law, good employer conduct and qualified sparring with managers? Then you may be our new colleague.
We are looking for a new colleague with solid experience from the personnel law field.
You will become part of an open, developing and highly professionally competent work community where humor, knowledge sharing and high professional quality are a fixed part of everyday life.
With us you will have good colleagues, top-class professional sparring, days working from home and great variation and flexibility on several fronts. In short, a fun, challenging and developing job that makes sense on several levels.
About HR
HR is organized in a staff function together with the City Secretariat, which counts a total of 22 colleagues. In HR we are 9 employees who every day support the entire municipal organization with advisory services and tasks within the HR, personnel and occupational health and safety areas. Your closest colleagues are the department's three other personnel consultants and a personnel lawyer with professional responsibility for the area. We work closely together, share knowledge and focus on creating value for both managers, employees and citizens.
The position
The position is full-time with starting date 1 December 2026.
As a personnel consultant you should be able to move between having an overview of many tasks with different partners and at the same time go into the details of your tasks. In daily life you will have contact with many people with different functions and professional backgrounds such as managers, employees and shop stewards, and you must therefore be able to adapt quickly and show understanding for different needs and agendas.
As a personnel consultant you will have a broad and varied task portfolio, which among other things can include:
- Advising managers on personnel cases, good employer conduct and salary conditions.
- Sick leave management – e.g., participation in talks with managers and employees.
- Handling complex disciplinary cases and negotiations with trade unions.
- Coordination and case processing of personnel processes – e.g., staff reductions or restructurings.
- Employment law sanctions and preparation of decisions.
- Negotiation and preparation of pre-agreements and local agreements.
- Advising on wage placements during new hires.
- Interpretation and implementation of collective agreements, agreements and legislation.
- Cross-functional collaboration within the organization.
Your profile
We are looking for a colleague with a relevant educational background; for example, you could be trained as an office clerk, have a middle-length or advanced education and perhaps relevant continuing education. It is a condition that you have solid experience from the personnel legal area, preferably from the public sector.
You work structurally, service-minded and solution-oriented, and you can see tasks in a larger organizational context. You can independently solve tasks at a high professional level, and move effortlessly between detail and the broad overview. At the same time you communicate clearly and professionally – both orally and in writing – and you thrive in a collaboration where trust, dialogue and respect are the foundation. Finally, you are eager to actively contribute to knowledge sharing, learning and development in the department and to be part of a professionally strong community.
You have a driving license for a passenger car and are willing to participate in meetings throughout the municipality.
We offer
With us you get a daily life characterized by independent and varied tasks, where no day is the same, and where you have the opportunity to apply your skills across the organization. You will support managers in your fixed departments with all types of cases, and you will always have the option to seek sparring from a colleague.
You will become part of a committed and experienced team where professional sparring, constructive dialogue and good humor are a natural part of the culture. With us, professionalism, quality and integrity go hand in hand. We work within the rules, but we are not afraid to think constructively and find the solutions that create the most value. Trust, strong relationships and focus on creating coherence in our joint HR effort are part of our DNA.
We prioritize professional development, which is why we are currently represented at the Personnel Law Conference and in relevant ERFA networks.
You will have your workplace at Nyborg Town Hall – centrally located close to both a train station and the motorway – and you will be part of a department that has a clear mission to support the organization in succeeding with its core task and creating well-being for employees.
As colleagues we have a culture with a high ceiling, where we focus on the good social community in the office, and we have many formal and informal conversations during a workweek. We are good at laughing together, and we ensure the good mood in the office. We are mindful of each other in daily life, and we really like cake.
You will experience a culture where we take great responsibility and show a lot of flexibility to get tasks solved. We work independently and with great flexibility with regard to work planning. There are good opportunities to work from home combined with a flexible Friday, which means that working hours in some weeks can be placed on the first four days of the week. You should expect that the placement of working hours can sometimes vary depending on current tasks.
In connection with your onboarding there will be a structured onboarding program with training and introduction to the organization, tasks and partners. During the onboarding period you should expect to be present most days.

The expected salary level will be provided before any interview and will be set based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including education, experience, competencies and the position's responsibilities.
