On behalf of Staermose Industry we are currently looking for a skilled and committed project manager for the steel business. As project manager you will join a well-functioning team of eight colleagues, all looking forward to welcoming you. Together we help machine manufacturers and customers in the metal and construction industries realize their desires and needs. This happens through close dialogue with customers, subcontractors and production, and you will therefore play an important role in the entire order handling process.

Your workday at Staermose Industry

Staermose Industry is characterized by a high degree of freedom with responsibility, and you will therefore have a great influence on how you organize your workday. You report to the CFO / sales responsible and will in daily work handle the entire order process, from the customer's first inquiry to the finished product being delivered. Your workday will thus offer many varied tasks.

Your primary tasks will include

• Project management of the entire order process, including coordination with the office, production, subcontractors and customers
• Calculation and bid/quotation on customer-specific tasks, including material calculation, time consumption and process descriptions
• Confirmation of orders as well as creation and processing of orders
• Ensuring that orders are production-ready with the right basis, drawings, etc. based on close dialogue with the customer
• Contact with subcontractors and obtaining offers in relation to further processing of parts

Your workday will be at the office in Odder with the possibility of home working.

Who are you?

There are several entry points to the position of project manager, but we imagine you have a metalcraft background such as locksmith, industrial technician or toolmaker combined with a higher education such as production technologist, designer or technical designer.

You preferably have 2-3 years of experience from a similar position, and you are professionally sharp and eager to develop and learn new. The computer is your primary working tool, and you are therefore an experienced user of the Office suite, and you can work with 3D files in Inventor or SolidWorks at a user level.

As a person you are independent and responsible, and you are highly focused on delivering good customer service. The customer experiences it by that you are engaged, proactive and solution-oriented, as well as having a sense for detail and a good overview. You use your strong technical expertise and willingly share suggestions and knowledge – both with your colleagues, and if it can optimize the customer's solution.
