Experienced yard worker/driver

We are seeking an experienced yard worker/driver with a flair for mechanics and technology for a full-time position at 37 hours in Glostrup. At Christiansen & Essenbæk we are looking for a colleague who can take responsibility for the tasks on our equipment yard – and who, in time, would like to develop into a foreman role. The position is practically oriented and combines duties as yard worker and driver. For the right candidate there are good opportunities for both professional and personal development.

Position

• Truck driving and handling of materials
• Truck driving with servicing of our own construction sites – primarily on Zealand
• Preparation and cleaning of machines
• Tasks related to the vehicle fleet, workshop and warehouse
• Working hours in the period: 05:30–15:00 (Monday–Thursday) and 05:30–14:30 (Friday). There may be shifted working hours.

We imagine that you

• Have experience from a warehouse, construction site or as a driver – preferably with knowledge of the contractor industry
• Have a large driving license (category C/C+E) as well as crane and forklift certificate
• Are practically minded, flexible and service-oriented
• Thrive on taking initiative and can keep an overview in a busy everyday life
