Facilities service technician/handyman wanted for the technical service team

About the job

We are looking for a property service technician or tradesperson with broad experience who would like to become part of our team. You may have knowledge of electricity, electronic locking systems, telephone systems etc. The team's core task is interior and exterior maintenance of 3 centers, Senior Center Gulkrog, Nursing Center Holmegården and Nursing Center Bakkegården. As a new colleague in the team, you, with your professional expertise, will help ensure good quality in solving your core task.

A smile – a chat and a whistle are what we and all our residents, children and citizens expect of you while you solve your tasks. Your primary place of work and meeting will be Senior Center Gulkrog. We collaborate with property management on maintenance and operation of elderly and care housing.

Your primary tasks will be operation and maintenance of buildings and the associated technical installations. Maintenance of green areas and a sustainable perspective in your task solving is expected. In addition, you will be responsible for viewing and showing apartments. You must be able to perform repairs and be practically inclined. There is a winter arrangement and an on-call allowance for calls outside normal scheduled hours, therefore it is expected that you are flexible.

Who are we

Three centres, Senior Center Gulkrog, Nursing Center Holmegården and Nursing Center Bakkegården. In total 160 publicly managed care homes with associated center facilities, cafe, day center, activity, swimming hall, rapid relief and home care districts with cars. The properties are located centrally in Vejle City Centre, but not more than 10 minutes from the highway – which makes it easy if you come from farther away. Walking distance to Vejle Station. Not least as important – we are great at celebrating both big and small.

We imagine that you

• Have a craft/technical education, preferably property service technician
• Have experience with building operation, including handling move-in/move-out inspections
• Have knowledge of ABA systems, electronic locks, emergency call systems etc., or be willing to learn
• Have a swimming pool technician course, or knowledge thereof
• Have a positive approach to task solving and teamwork
• Can thrive with many different tasks, indoors and outdoors
• Have a good mood, be naturally approachable, and be able to cooperate with many different types of people
• Use IT and other technical tools in a sensible way
• Have a driver's license for a passenger car

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and local pay.
