About the job

We are expanding in Troldehøjen with a bunch of lovely new nursery children – and we need you who are passionate about pedagogy, close relationships and small people with big personalities. If you can see yourself in a community where well-being, play, nature and learning go hand in hand, please read on. We promise meaningful work where your professionalism makes a concrete difference every single day.

Troldehøjen is located at Tunehøj 1 in Tune and is part of Greve Municipality's day care services. We are a combined house with almost ten rooms in total, four kindergarten groups and six nursery groups spread across two buildings. There is nursery and preschool in both houses. The houses are only a short step away from each other.

Here we work holistically with focus on attachment, security, care, and collaboration with both children, parents and colleagues. We base our approach on Greve Municipality's view of children and youth, with focus on the three core values: 'Children do the best they can', 'children's development is relational', 'all children have resources'.

What you will do In the role as pedagogue in Troldehøjen you will be an important part of daily life for our youngest children, especially in the nursery, where safety and attachment are central. You will become part of a team that is focused on creating structured yet warm frameworks where children can explore the world and develop at their own pace. You will be close to the children in their daily lives, and you will be central in helping to create inclusive, safe and developmental spaces. You will focus on the core task.

You work both independently and in close collaboration with your colleagues, and you actively contribute to close and good collaboration with parents.

  • Create safe, development-focused and caring learning environments for nursery children
  • Plan, implement and evaluate pedagogical activities with a focus on play, nature and learning
  • Work closely with colleagues on structures, routines and pedagogical interventions in the child groups
  • Involve in a close and respectful collaboration with parents about their child's well-being and development
  • Document and reflect on pedagogical practice
  • Actively participate in team meetings, professional discussions and inter-disciplinary collaboration on the floor, in the department and in the whole house

Who we hope you are We are looking for someone who can be both professionally sharp and down-to-earth in meetings with children, parents and colleagues. You thrive in an environment where there is room for both calm, laughter and busy days, and where you help each other when it gets hectic. You want to be part of a work community where people speak openly about things, share knowledge and lift as a team. You put your heart into the work, and you thrive in an environment with both collaboration and independence.

You like taking initiative, and you are not afraid to think new thoughts when something can be done better.. And you are the type who can stay calm and be clear when there are many balls in the air.

We don't expect you to be perfect, but that you want to develop professionally together with us.

  • Qualified pedagogue with experience, preferably from nursery or day care
  • Clear, present and caring in contact with children and parents
  • Professionally reflective and curious about pedagogy, learning and children's development
  • Ready to work in a structured way with everyday routines and cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • Comfortable using digital tools for documentation, communication and planning
  • Stable, responsible and good at contributing positively to both the work environment and the community

Why you will enjoy working here In Troldehøjen you will become part of a warm and inclusive community where we take children, parents and colleagues seriously – without forgetting humor. We prioritize a working environment with psychological safety, open dialogue and mutual respect, so there are good conditions for both well-being and professional development. Here there is room to be yourself, ask questions, try new things and learn along the way.

We are a workplace where both professionalism and job satisfaction are central. We care that you can have a work-life balance that fits with the rest of your life, and we prioritize well-being and balance, even when things are busy. You will have ample opportunity to use your professional expertise every day, and you will have colleagues who want to develop practice with you.

It has been decided, among other things, that all staff at Troldehøjen will complete a Marte Meo training course. In addition, there are great opportunities for education and professional development.

  • Salary and terms of employment according to the current collective agreement
  • Flexible working conditions
  • As a rule full-time position

Close collaboration with the management and the pedagogical team

  • A work environment with focus on well-being, community and development
