Finance Accountant with a solid financial toolkit for one of Denmark's largest law firms

Then we have an exciting opportunity for you in one of Denmark's leading law firms. We are seeking an experienced Finance Accountant who will be a central part of our finance function and ensure that the numbers add up – every time.

An important role in a strong team

You will be part of a finance department with 35 colleagues and three RPA robots distributed across the Finance Group, Financial Planning & Analysis, Controllers, and Risk & Compliance.

As a Finance Accountant you will be part of the Finance Group, where you together with eight dedicated colleagues ensure that the finances run smoothly and that quality is always top. You will have a broad contact surface across the organisation and become an important player in daily operations, development and timely financial reporting.

Your primary tasks will be

• Creditors and debtors management – including ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations and follow-up
• Handling of client funds – a key element in our daily work
• VAT returns and compliance with applicable rules
• Monthly closing and reporting , where you actively contribute to accurate accounts and analyses
• Participation in optimization and digitization of processes and ERP systems

About you

We are looking for someone with a strong accounting profile who thrives with both hands-on operation and analytical accounting . We ensure that you are well prepared for the special rules and workflows that apply to us and in our industry. The most important is that you have control of your accounting strengths, work in a structured way and are eager to learn new things – we will help you get started, whatever your background.

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant financial education (e.g., HD(R), merkonom or similar)
• Have a minimum of three years’ experience from a similar role – e.g., as accounting manager or auditor
• Have broad experience in bookkeeping. Knowledge of payroll and VAT is an advantage
• Are comfortable with ERP systems and have a flair for numbers and IT
• Are structured, have a good sense of humor, are solution-oriented and have a natural interest in optimizing processes

Experience from the advisory or legal sector is an advantage but not a requirement.
