About the job

The program has been designed so that you gain experience in business advisory during your studies and get a solid foundation for an internship or trainee program at Jyske Bank.

You will gain insight into companies and the opportunity to develop your professional competences in collaboration with experienced business advisers.

About the job

You will become part of Local Business Copenhagen, where from the start you work closely with customers and the advisory role. The program is designed with one goal: to prepare you for a career in the financial sector.

Your path looks like this

  • Study job as Advisor Assistant approximately 15 hours per week. Preferably starting no later than January 1, 2027.
  • Internship for 5 months full-time from August 2027.
  • Continued study job after the internship with a view to starting a trainee program.

In daily work you help solve tasks that are central to business advisory. You

  • assist the business partners in their day-to-day work
  • prepare and participate in client meetings
  • work with client onboarding and credit tasks
  • handle both administrative and client-facing tasks

You will progressively take on more tasks, and during the internship period you will work more independently with them. Naturally, you will receive sparring and help from your supervisor and colleagues.

We know that your studies come first, and therefore we adjust the working hours so study and work can fit well together.

Your profile

It is a prerequisite that you are currently pursuing the finance bachelor degree and want an internship from August 2027.

In addition, it is important that you

  • are motivated by delivering great customer experiences
  • are curious about companies, economy and business customers
  • communicate naturally and meet customers and colleagues at eye level
  • want to develop yourself both professionally and personally
  • take responsibility for your tasks and see them through

You do not need to have experience from a bank. The most important is your motivation to work with customers and your desire to develop towards a future as an advisor.

Your everyday life in Local Business Copenhagen

As a new employee in the bank you will encounter a daily life characterized by trust, short decision paths and a focus on your development. We give responsibility early and expect you to participate actively in your tasks and ask questions along the way.

In Local Business Copenhagen we are 26 colleagues who work closely together for the customers and help each other across segments and disciplines. We combine high ambitions with a strong sense of community, where we focus on results and a good working environment.

Our ambition is to be the local business community’s preferred partner through personal and professional advisory. Therefore you get a daily life where you quickly become part of the community and work on tasks that create value for both customers and the team.

Your workplace

You will primarily have your workplace in the Glass Cube at Kalvebod Brygge 3 in Copenhagen, from where we cover a large and attractive market area in the Greater Copenhagen area.

Diversity and inclusion

We work to create a workplace where different perspectives create value. Therefore we design tasks and collaboration so that there is room for different ways of learning and contributing.
