The Job

On behalf of a smaller manufacturing company in Assens Municipality, we are seeking a finance manager who can handle the daily finances and at the same time contribute to management decisions through reporting, analyses and financial follow-up.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be

• Daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable management, and bank reconciliations.
• VAT, payroll administration and monthly closings.
• Budgeting, financial follow-up and reporting to management and the board.
• Preparation and follow-up on key figures, KPIs and financial analyses.
• Optimization of financial processes and automation of manual workflows.

You will have a varied daily routine, where you need to keep track of details while also seeing the bigger picture. There will also be practical tasks in day-to-day operations, so it is important that you enjoy taking action where needed.

Your Background

We imagine that you have experience from a controller position or a similar finance function, and that you are ready to take on broader responsibility for the company's overall finances.

In addition, we expect that you

• Have a relevant finance education, e.g. HD, cand.merc. or similar.
• Have a solid accounting understanding and experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations and monthly closings.
• Have experience with budgets, reporting and financial follow-up.
• Work in a structured, independent and analytical manner.
• Have strong IT skills and an interest in digitalization and automation.
• Communicate confidently in Danish and English.

The most important thing is that you can combine accounting expertise with an overview, initiative and a desire to improve processes.
