Fitness instructor sought for strength training for pregnant women and new mothers in Stevns and Køge

Are you passionate about strength training and helping women stay physically active during and after pregnancy?

We are seeking a dedicated fitness instructor to lead group training for pregnant women and postpartum groups, where the baby can participate.

FOF Køge Bugt is seeking an instructor for strength training for pregnant women and new mothers

The instruction should be based on strength training and functional exercises that support women’s strength, well-being and daily life through pregnancy and after birth. The classes should be professionally sound, yet take place in a safe and motivating atmosphere, where there is room for participants at different levels.

Important information about the position

You will be paid hourly under the Folkeoplysningsloven (the Danish Popular Education Act), and we will agree the hours together

We are looking for an instructor who

• Has experience with group training and preferably strength training.
• Has knowledge of or interest in training during and after pregnancy.
• Can adapt exercises to the individual participant.
• Is outgoing, engaged and good at creating a sense of community in the classes.
• Is a Motionsvejleder with MORTION or has a relevant education as a physiotherapist or psychomotor therapist. This is an advantage, but not a requirement.

About the classes

• The classes take place in Stevns and in Køge and start from early 2027.
• There will be teaching both in the morning and in the evening.
• It is important that you are available to teach evening classes.
• There is also the possibility to supplement with other strength and movement classes, e.g., for older people.

As a teacher at FOF Køge Bugt you are employed on an hourly basis, and the pay is in accordance with the Folkeoplysningsloven. The pay is calculated in accordance with the Ministry of Education's regulations on pay and employment conditions for teachers involved in teaching etc. under the Folkeoplysningsloven.
