As a foundry technician apprentice you will be trained in both traditional craft techniques and modern technology. From steel scrap to molten melt and from traditional sand casting molds to 3D scanning and robotics. You will gain insight into the entire manufacturing process: model making, iron melting, casting, post-processing and final inspection. In short, a combination of practical work and theory

A brief about the education

• The program lasts 3.5 years and consists of an introductory period and a total of 22 weeks of school attendance distributed across 3 main phases held at Uddannelsescenter Holstebro (UCH).
• A practical training placement at Uldall - part of BIRN Group - one of Northern Europe’s largest foundry groups
• Possibility to tailor the education to your own interests
