Gardener for independent work in East Jutland

At DELPRO we are looking for a gardener for our Facility Management team in East Jutland. You will be part of a strong team, but the majority of your workday takes place independently at our customers' sites, where you are responsible for creating overview, maintaining cadence and ensuring high quality in the tasks.

About the job

As a gardener at DELPRO you help maintain green areas around transformer stations, gas technical facilities and overhead lines. Through your work you contribute to ensuring critical infrastructure operates safely and reliably for the benefit of Danish homes and businesses.

You will be attached to our head office in Vamdrup, but you drive straight out to tasks from your home address.

We imagine that you live in or around Vejle, Hedensted, Horsens, Skanderborg or Billund, as the majority of tasks are in this area.

Your primary tasks will be

• Mowing of grass
• Trimming and pruning of hedges, shrubs and trees
• Weed control and removal
• Operation of smaller machines and handheld equipment
• General maintenance and minor repairs of machines and equipment in the field
• Various operational and maintenance tasks contributing to a varied workday and requiring practical sense and flexibility

During the growing season you primarily work with care and maintenance of green areas, while the winter period offers tree care, pruning tasks and clearing work. The winter period provides opportunities to work with other types of tasks, use professional equipment such as chainsaws and wood chippers, and develop skills in tree care and maintenance. It provides a versatile everyday and ensures interesting tasks year-round.

Who are you?

You may be trained as a landscape gardener, forest worker, farmer or come from the construction industry. The most important is that you take responsibility, work independently and find job satisfaction in practical outdoor work.

We provide thorough training with on-the-job training and ongoing support from your Service Leader and colleagues in the team. You will be provided with a service car so you can drive out from your home address.
