Recycling advisor for a full-time position in Aabybro

Nordværk is seeking a recycling guide who, with commitment and good humor, wants to take part in the work of serving citizens and businesses at our recycling center in Aabybro.

We are a company with over 650 employees, and one of our core tasks is to operate recycling centers in Northern Denmark. Our primary goal is to send as much waste as possible for recycling and reuse, and this is where you come in.

In the position you will work at Nordværk's recycling center in Aabybro.

About the job

As a recycling guide, you, in close cooperation with colleagues on the site, will be responsible for guiding citizens and businesses on sorting the waste they bring to the center.

Your main tasks are to

• Guide citizens and businesses on correct sorting of waste
• Be an ambassador for Nordværk and contribute to the green transition
• Ensure that the recycling center appears inviting and ready for customers
• Pack and prepare waste for further transport
• Operate work vehicles when loading and moving containers
• Maintain machines and equipment as well as keep the recycling center neat and tidy
• Handle smaller administrative tasks related to ordering transportation

What we expect from you

• You greet people with a smile and are outgoing and helpful
• You may have experience from the service sector – maybe not, but you have the right attitude
• You can communicate well in Danish, both orally and in writing
• You thrive working outdoors all year round
• You can use a computer for everyday needs
• A forklift certificate and experience with machinery is a plus – but not a requirement

Salary according to qualifications and applicable collective agreement.

Working hours are on average 37 hours per week, and you should expect work during day and evening shifts as well as weekends and holidays.
