JKS is seeking a production worker for iron and metal recycling – with the possibility of permanent employment

On behalf of HJHansen Recycling A/S in Korsør , JKS is seeking a stable and hardworking employee for the company’s site for iron and metal recycling. The position is a temporary position with a view to permanent employment for the right candidate.

About the job

You will be part of the daily operations on the site, where iron and various types of metal are received from both trucks, companies and private individuals.

The materials must be handled, sorted and placed correctly, and therefore it is important that you are keen to learn to distinguish between the different types of iron and metal.

Your tasks will include

• Receiving and handling of iron and metal
• Sorting of different types of metals and materials
• Separation and removal of among other things batteries and other materials
• Moving and organizing materials and piles on the site
• Practical tasks related to the daily operation
• Driving with a forklift and other machines, if you have the right certificates and experience

The work mainly takes place outdoors year-round , so you should enjoy working in sun, rain, cold and sleet.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are practical and not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You do not necessarily need experience from the iron and metal industry, but it is important that you are curious, quick to learn and have a good sense of quality and proper sorting.

In addition, we value that you

• work responsibly and have a good gut feeling regarding materials and quality
• are stable and punctual
• enjoy physical and practical work
• can work outdoors in all kinds of weather
• are not afraid of heights
• can read, speak and understand Danish
• can present a criminal record
• preferably has forklift certificate – it is an advantage, but not a requirement
• preferably has experience with machines, construction equipment or similar

If you have previously worked at a recycling facility, with iron and metal, in warehousing, in production, in the construction industry or with machines, this is naturally an advantage.

Working hours and employment

Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:00–15:00 .

There is a full-time position with a view to permanent employment at HJ Hansen Recycling A/S if you are the right match.
