The position as cemetery keeper at Ubberud-Ravnebjerg Churches, Ubberud-Ravnebjerg Parish is vacant as of January 1, 2027.

The position is 37 hours per week.

The cemetery keeper shall perform the following tasks

· maintain and be responsible for the cemetery's upkeep, grave monuments, etc.

· church services at certain religious ceremonies annually

· Invoicing via Brandsoft

· Maintain cemetery overviews, both via Brandsoft and on Parpir.

Ubberud Church has installed an automatic bell system, Ravnebjerg has a manual bell system.

We expect that you have

Experience as a cemetery keeper

Experience with Brandsoft system

Experience with church ceremonies is welcome

Willingness to speak with the cemetery visitors if they contact you.

Employment is made by Ubberud-Ravnebjerg Parish Council located at Ubberudvej 12, 5491 Blommenslyst.

The employment is covered by the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees’ Organizations (OAO-S) and the Organizational Agreement for church officials with core tasks such as sexton or cemetery keeper, concluded between the Ministry of Finance and the Federation of Church and Cemetery Employees with the accompanying protocol for sextons.

Current civil servant employed sextons have the right to retain their civil servant status on direct transition. In that case, the position must be classified.

It is a condition that the mandatory 5-week training for sextons is completed within 2 years after the start of employment.

The position is classified in pay group 2, as there is a requirement for horticultural training. The annual salary is agreed within the range of DKK 350,435 – 438,260 (current prices).

There is a readiness obligation for the position. The standby allowance amounts to annually 16,297/27,247/33,740 DKK (current prices).

Salary and standby allowance are pro-rated in accordance with the position's appointment fraction. An agreement on placement in the pay interval is concluded between the parish council and FAKK.
