Craftsman appraiser sought for our insurance department in Aarhus

We are looking for an engaged construction claims adjuster who thrives in a busy daily routine and maintains an overview and structure – even when the pace is high and the tasks are many. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating a strong team of craftsmen who together deliver solutions to our insurance customers with a focus on quality, collaboration and responsibility.

In the role as a construction claims adjuster you have overall responsibility for handling insurance claims – from inspection and planning to execution and handover. You ensure a professional process for the customer and coordinate the work with both internal craftsmen and external partners. When inspecting damages you apply your solid knowledge of materials and the construction of different structures to assess the extent of the damage and identify the most appropriate solution and method.

You will become part of a well-functioning insurance department in Aarhus, where an experienced team of construction claims adjusters and skilled craftsmen are ready to welcome you and ensure a good start.

Your characteristics

» You are a skilled carpenter with several years of experience and a broad building-technical understanding

» You may already be trained as a construction claims adjuster

» You have experience in leading smaller construction projects

» You are service-minded and approachable and create satisfied customers through high quality and good communication

Your primary tasks

» Inspection and assessment of insurance damages

» Handling damages in the order of 0–75,000 DKK

» Contact with insurance companies, customers and other partners

» Procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors

» Responsible for quality control and occupational safety on the cases
