Are you interested in getting a good job as a permanent disabled helper in the BPA scheme with an active female wheelchair user who is partially paralyzed after a spinal cord injury (tetraplegia) in 1972. I hold a Cand. mag. degree in French and religion.

I am seeking

Helper for 21 hours /week currently distributed as

Mondays (8am-5pm)

Wednesdays (10am-6pm)

As well as every second Saturday (10am-6pm)

Shifts can be changed within the 7am-11pm window, e.g., in the case of escort tasks. Final schedules are set in collaboration with the undersigned and the other caregivers at the staff meetings. Coverage is expected in case of illness and holidays. It is advantageous if you are flexible. It is important that you are reliable in your attendance.

Wages will be the applicable rate for employees in the BPA scheme in Aarhus Municipality. The rates can be accessed at BPA.Aarhus.dk. I have the employer responsibility myself, and I manage and allocate the work in accordance with current occupational health and safety regulations.

The work is very varied. Ideally you should have experience with general household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking (both meat and vegetarian dishes), in addition the job includes partial care, including use of a ceiling hoist, some gardening, accompanying to training, to treatment, to hobbies, to shopping, to social and cultural activities, etc.

In short you must be prepared to be "my hands". That is, to help me with what I cannot manage in my daily life. Some of the tasks will require you to be able to be present as a "fly on the wall".

A driving license is desirable, but for now not a requirement.
