The self-governing day-care institution Overlund Børnecenter is seeking a new leader.

Overlund Børnecenter is a self-governing integrated institution that has existed and thrived since 1972. We welcome children aged 0-6 years, primarily from the Overlund school district, and today house 63 kindergarten places, 22 nursery places, and about 20 staff – including you as leader and a deputy head. Overlund Børnecenter is a nice place to be, and we are looking for you who will contribute to the wellbeing among both children and adults that we value so highly.

The pedagogical staff in daily work have a particular focus on caring for the children, the importance of play, the children's learning and development. Work is especially with co-practice, strong child communities, an evaluative culture, Topi and VLS (We learn together).

We focus on ensuring that all children are part of the child community, and we ensure through our pedagogical practice and organization that all children reach privileged positions.

We work structured with Marte Meo. A method that helps develop interaction and meeting moments between people and strengthens positive interactions and resources in the individual through acknowledgment.

• You have relevant leadership education, practical experience as a leader or are eager to further educate yourself within leadership
• You are trustworthy, reliable and relationally strong, which is expressed in your way of collaborating and meeting both children and adults
• You are action-oriented and clear in your communication, but also able to be curious
• You are visible and competent in the pedagogical daily life across the entire institution
• You are organized and can create an overview and meet deadlines with many balls in the air
• You can work with financial management, IT and administration as a natural part of the job.

Leadership in a self-governing institution

As a leader at Overlund Børnecenter you report directly to the institution's board. You are responsible to the board for the daily pedagogical and administrative operation within the framework of Viborg Municipality's children policy, as well as the goals and frameworks set by the municipality for day-care work.

Management collaboration with Viborg Municipality

As a leader in collaboration with Viborg Municipality, you become part of a large and diverse, politically governed organization, where leadership is based on Viborg Municipality's personnel policies and the MED agreement. You can read more on Viborg Municipality's website.

Salary and employment

Salary is determined on the basis of applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience, and your professional and personal qualifications.

Interviews
