Our department head in the youth environment (7th–9th grade) has after 11 years sought new challenges, and therefore Tåsingeskolen is now looking for a leader who has something special on their heart in relation to working with youths' development, learning and formation.

At Tåsingeskolen we have deliberately organized ourselves so that our pedagogical department heads can use their time and energy on what makes the biggest difference – namely the students, the staff and the pedagogical and didactic development.

This means that you primarily should spend your time on staff management, student matters, the school year’s planning, collaboration with the UU guidance and SSP and the ongoing development of a good school – and not on substitute coverage, finances and heavy administrative tasks. We have a strong and well-functioning administration that takes care of those. We believe that good and close pedagogical leadership requires time to be close to practice and the people you are leading.

About us

Tåsingeskolen is known for being a school with exciting development projects for both children and adults. The school buzzes with lively, professional discussions and warm laughter that come from a strong and welcoming community where both students and teachers inspire each other every day. You will quickly feel that you are not just stepping into a workplace, you become an active part of a living house full of ambitions and a desire to learn.

In these years we are part of a large development project dealing with open and inquiry-based didactics with a playful approach. Likewise, the school has worked intensively with co-teaching for several years to support the academically diverse learning environments. All classes now also have a welfare/wellbeing lesson once a week, where we work with the strong communities among other things.

At Tåsingeskolen we have in the youth environment the municipality’s Science Line, which is part of our youth environment. You will therefore also have responsibility, in close collaboration with the staff, to develop and run the Science Line. In the youth environment we are also participating in the three-year national trial program with school meals, where our students in 7th–9th grade get free school meals. It is yet another exciting opportunity to develop the school day and the community around our youth.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement. The salary is negotiated with the professional union. In Svendborg Municipality, the salary for this type of position typically lies between 62,553 and 67,275 DKK per month at full-time. The salary includes pension, special holiday allowance and fixed allowances. It is important to note that your exact salary will be determined based on your experience, seniority and competencies and agreed in negotiations with the relevant professional organization.

HR department will obtain a criminal record and a child certificate for the selected applicant. It is a condition of employment that the certificates are satisfactory for the position. The assessment is carried out by the Legal Department in cooperation with the Director of Children and Youth in Svendborg Municipality.
