About the job

The new elder law provides new tasks and a need for more people to take on tasks together in daily life. Therefore we are seeking a Social and Health Care Assistant for a mixed day/evening shift at Home Care Skive/Højslev South.

Would you like to be part of a multidisciplinary team that is characterized by high professional standards and that focuses on development and a good working environment? We work every day with the goal of giving our citizens the best possibilities for a good and dignified life. Does that sound like something for you? Then read more here.

In Home Care Skive/Højslev we have five units: North, Middle, South, East and the Nursing Department. We are in total a little over 300 employees, distributed across different professional groups. In everyday life we focus on creating a sense of community and a good working environment together, which among other things means that we, in collaboration with you, will strive for an attractive work schedule. We use “LOOP” in connection with work planning, where you have influence on your shift schedule.

Work is either every 2nd weekend or every 3rd weekend and 1 extra day over 12 weeks – depending on your wish.

We place emphasis on both your professional skills and your personality

We expect you to be educated as a Sosu-hjælper (Social and Health Care Assistant) so you can handle the tasks at a high professional level. Development is a keyword for us, and we offer ongoing competence development within relevant areas. We are curious and continuously work on various development projects that should help us be prepared for the challenges in the elder and health sector.

We work with the new elder law in a focused way

  • Triaging: We hold daily morning meetings in which, as needed, we discuss the citizen’s health situation and provide professional sparring across professional groups, for the benefit of the citizens
  • Citizen teams: We work in citizen teams
  • The rehabilitative mindset: We help citizens master everyday life
  • Electronic documentation: We document via our care system Nexus
  • And much more that is expected and called for in everyday life

In addition to your professional competences, we also value your personal competences highly

There are rarely two days that are the same in home care. You can expect that it is often busy, and therefore it is important that you thrive in a high tempo. Both the citizens, their relatives and your colleagues depend on you and your efforts. Therefore it is important that you are reliable and flexible. We pull together and strive to make an effort every day, and we work together to reach our common goal; to give our citizens the best opportunities for a good and dignified life.

We do this from an appreciative and respectful approach to both the citizens, their relatives and to each other as colleagues. We are together in creating a safe and good working environment, where we solve things through dialogue.

What you can expect from us

It is important to us that you get off to a good start. Therefore we offer a thorough and individualized introduction to the tasks.
