Health professional consultant for the social-psychiatric residential facility Parkvænget

A unique workplace

Parkvænget is a residential facility for 58 adults with complex mental health difficulties. We have 71 permanent employees and 4 managers who participate in a leadership team with the principal. Parkvænget is a social-psychiatric offering under the Danish Social Service Act sections 107 and 108 and organizationally placed in the Center for Disability, Psychiatry and Addiction under Glostrup Municipality.

We have a strong focus on rehabilitation and resident involvement. Here we use a wide range of professional methods to support our residents to master their lives as best as possible and to be able to engage in activities and protected employment.

As a health professional consultant you will be responsible for ensuring the health care quality and will be responsible for ensuring patient safety for Parkvænget's residents.

The position as health professional consultant encompasses professional responsibility for the health care quality and services at Parkvænget. This in collaboration with management and contact persons. You should thrive with close contact with the target group and have experience in teaching, so that unit staff can be trained in various competencies. Organizationally you are placed in the development team at Parkvænget in a team with other solo-function roles.

Your function as health professional consultant includes

You can look forward to a varied daily life, where you have great influence on your tasks, including the following:

• You provide sparring to contact persons, coordinators and the management team, i.e., you are out in practice and participate in morning meetings so that the residents' services can be followed up
• You quality assure the documentation of the health care services and interventions
• You are responsible for documentation in CURA and can support operations when challenges arise
• You develop and update instructions and guidelines.
• You lead the project management of a health care super-user group that supports you in the implementation and anchoring of the health care quality
• You design educational courses for the staff
• You ensure that contact persons have the right competencies to deliver health care services and ensure coordination of medical courses, quality assurances and have an overview of the health care competencies staff have.
• You ensure that UTHs are followed up and can prepare analyses and action plans to ensure patient safety
• You will collaborate with relevant partners, e.g., hospitals, caseworkers, doctors, etc.

Your professional background and education

• You are a trained nurse and secure in your professional identity
• You have relevant postgraduate education, perhaps a master's or candidate degree
• You preferably have experience in the substance use/addiction field, somatics or psychiatry
• You preferably have prior experience in a consultancy role and can work independently, as well as seek out and address health care issues
• You have solid experience in researching and developing instructions, action cards, etc.
• You have experience teaching staff
• You have solid experience documenting health care services and interventions
• You have experience with IT systems, e.g., CURA, and can support operations challenges
