Experienced hearing consultant with an interest in cochlear implants is sought for a full-time position with great freedom and strong colleagues

Do you want to use your audiological expertise to make a concrete difference for people with hearing loss? Then you may be the person we are looking for as our new hearing consultant.

With us you will be part of an engaged team where high professionalism, independence and good colleagues go hand in hand. We work every day to improve the quality of life and participation opportunities for citizens with hearing loss, and we are looking for a colleague who wants to contribute with their knowledge and experience within the hearing field.

We offer a position with great freedom to plan your workday, exciting specialist tasks and a strong collegial community where we help and spar with each other.

About the position

As a hearing consultant you will be part of a multidisciplinary environment where you work closely with citizens, relatives and partners.

You will among other things

  • provide advice and guidance to citizens with hearing loss and their relatives
  • perform audiological assessments and trials
  • advise on and adapt hearing assistive technologies
  • educate and guide citizens, networks and professionals
  • collaborate with hospitals, municipalities and other relevant partners
  • have a central role in the efforts for citizens with cochlear implants (CI)

The position provides the opportunity to work with both complex and specialized audiological issues, where your expertise is used daily.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • are educated as an audiologist, audiologoped or have another relevant audiological background
  • have experience with the hearing field and with CI
  • thrive working independently and taking responsibility for your own tasks
  • are curious, professionally engaged and motivated for ongoing development
  • have good collaboration skills and contribute positively to the community
  • are able to create safe and respectful relationships with citizens and partners

The most important is that you are passionate about making a difference for people with hearing loss and want to join a strong professional environment.

Why choose us

We know that skilled hearing consultants have many opportunities. Therefore we offer a workplace where you can both develop your professional skills and thrive in daily life.

With us you get

  • great freedom and flexibility in planning your work
  • opportunity to bring and further develop your competencies in the CI area
  • a strong professional community with engaged and helpful colleagues
  • professional sparring and knowledge sharing as a natural part of daily life
  • opportunity to network e.g. within the DTHS region
  • a working environment characterized by trust, humor and collaboration
  • a meaningful job where you make a noticeable difference for the citizens

About us

We are a team with great professional pride and a shared desire to create the best possible solutions for people with hearing loss. We value quality, collaboration and the citizen perspective highly, and we believe the best results are achieved when skilled employees are given responsibility, freedom and the opportunity to use their competencies.

Communication Collaboration Midt consists – in addition to the hearing team – also of our vision team, which similarly helps people with visual impairments. With us there is good energy and a strong collegial community. Together we carry out tasks for citizens in Favrskov, Syddjurs, Norddjurs and Randers Municipality.

We are located at Randers Health Center, a fascinating house filled with municipal, regional and private health actors.

Have we piqued your interest?
