Help a young man in Valby gain structure in his everyday life

We are seeking an employee for a 23-year-old man who needs structure and stability in daily life. You help him gain an overview and handle daily tasks, so that he over time can get out more.

About the task

You will be support for a quiet, calm and polite young man. He spends time on YouTube and home training, but lacks a fixed daily structure. He has anxiety and can have difficulty getting to know new people. Therefore it is important that you have time to get to know each other and build a secure relationship.

Your task is to create continuity through your weekly meetings. Together you work on gaining an overview of his everyday life and find an orderly way to approach the tasks. This could for example be to plan the week or read and handle mail.

With the relationship and daily structure as a starting point you also support him in gradually going outside the home.

About you

You do not need to have a specific education. The most important thing is that you are stable, keep appointments and have patience to build a relationship over time. You listen to his perspective and can at the same time take initiative and help him get started.

Working hours

The position is 3 hours per week, placed either 09:00–12:00 or 11:00–14:00 on a weekday.

You will become part of a family-owned company with many dedicated employees. You will have a fixed advisor whom you can always spar with. Outside office opening hours there is always a staffed on-call phone, so you are never alone. Salary and pension in accordance with the National Collective Agreement concluded between FOA and Dansk Erhverv. You are covered by DUOS’ liability and work-related injury insurance and health insurance is part of your pension scheme.
