Warm-hearted educator for Tønning-Træden Free School's Kindergarten 30 hours/week

There are quite a lot of children who want to join our kindergarten, so we need more adults.

We therefore hope that you read along and feel like stopping by our lovely independent school and kindergarten, for a tour and a chat.

Specifically, we are seeking a qualified pedagogue for the kindergarten for 30 hours in a permanent position with the possibility of more hours.

Tønning-Træden Free School and Kindergarten is beautifully situated in the hills a half hour from Skanderborg, Horsens, Silkeborg and Vejle. And from Aarhus you can reach us in just 45 minutes.

As part of a lively free school environment you have ample opportunity to influence your daily life – there is little distance between thought and action.

You will become part of an engaged staff group, where we are good at helping each other and giving each other room to contribute with what we each are passionate about.

A well-functioning and 'green' kindergarten

We are a well-functioning kindergarten that is licensed for 65 children. With us we value close relationships, and through our close cooperation with the parents we get safe children who grow and develop. Our kindergarten is a direct feeder to the free school, so we work to maintain and develop a strong sense of togetherness for the children. We have good facilities both outdoors and indoors.

The kindergarten is located in a scenic area – with large green spaces, a fantastic playground, a bonfire hut, a sports field, forest and a brook right in the backyard – and therefore outdoor life constitutes an important dimension in the pedagogical practice. Our kindergarten flies the Danish Outdoor Council's green flag as well as the green ‘Sustainability Flag’, and we are constantly curious about how we can improve and renew our green profile.

• ready to take the lead and initiate pedagogical activities together with your colleagues
• listening, open and good at collaborating
• reflective about one's own practice and want to be in a professional space where we dare to question and develop together
