House assistant for the Home and respite care service Skelbakken

The home and respite care service Skelbakken, Mellemhuset, is seeking a house assistant for 30 hours per week, employed from December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

About Skelbakken

Bo- og aflastningstilbud Skelbakken is a regional 24-hour facility for children and young people with lasting mental and physical functional impairments aged 0-23 years.

Skelbakken comprises three residential houses, with space for 6-7 residents in each house, as well as a respite house where up to 8 children or young people can be accommodated at a time, and a common house with various facilities and functions.

About the position

The position is 30 hours per week and you will be attached to Mellemhuset.

In Mellemhuset there are 7 children and young people living there.

The meeting time is 6:00 a.m. on all weekdays, where you start by helping the children and the young people up and off to school, tidy up after breakfast and handle other tasks in the house in the morning.

When the children and the young people have left, you will clean in Mellemhuset.

There will be other practical work for the position, which will be agreed upon at the start.

You will, in addition to the team in Mellemhuset, be part of the team of house assistants who take on tasks across the service, e.g. during holiday leave.

• You should enjoy cleaning and see the importance of the task

• You are flexible and empathic towards people with special needs
• You are engaged and place a high value on collaboration with your colleagues
• You must be service-oriented
• You have a category B driving license

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment are based on current collective agreement and Ny Løn principles.

Starting salary for employees under a collective agreement

The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be told the base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension in the relevant collective agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include any negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
