About the job
Are you strong in HR administration, systems and processes, and are you motivated by delivering high quality and good service to employees and managers?
At Flådestation Korsør we are seeking an engaged HR specialist who will help ensure efficient HR processes and a professional employee experience for colleagues, from the moment they begin their employment.
About us
As part of the 3. Eskadre, the core task for Flådestation Korsør is to provide logistical support to the Navy's ships and authorities, including the operational management of the fleet station.
Flådestation Korsør consists of a leadership, an operational support section, a base section, the Navy’s Tambur Corps and a garrison element – in total we are 115 employees.
You will have a broad touchpoint across the organisation and will work closely with the deputy commander, to whom you also report directly. You will also collaborate with the squadron’s manpower element, the Personnel Command and the Navy’s Center for Administration.
At Flådestation Korsør we are proud to be service-minded, competent and to deliver on our tasks – and we work purposefully to create the best possible fleet station for our users and not least the best workplace for our employees.
About the position
You will play a central role in the daily operation of the HR function. The role spans from personnel administration and authority contact to HR systems, recruitment processes, on- and offboarding, course registration, ongoing process improvements and much more.
Your main tasks
- coordination and participation in recruitment processes, the offboarding process, and daily support to employees, managers, HR partners and career advisers
- maintenance of employee data in SAP/DeMars, including preparation of HR reports and HR data extracts, as well as coordination of markings for the awarding of medals, anniversaries and commemorations
- support for the fleet station’s training planning including course registrations and management and preparation of a term overview with prioritized courses
- proposals and initiatives to improve and streamline HR processes
- preparation of material for staffing meetings including support with input to career plans for military personnel
- communication via internal information channels
If you have competencies or areas of interest that in other areas could support the fleet station’s task solving and it would make sense to include in your portfolio of responsibilities – that’s what we mean by it – as we have a flexible approach to maintaining and developing our employees’ competences.
About you
We imagine you have an academic background, relevant office education or experience at a comparable level, and:
- have several years of experience from an HR organization
- have solid experience with personnel administration and HR processes
- work in a structured, detail-oriented way and with high quality
- enjoy many different tasks and can prioritise in a busy day
- have a flair for systems, an eye for and interest in digital tools
- knowledge of SAP/DeMars
- communicate well, both written and verbal
It would be an advantage if you have worked with personnel administration in the Defence.
Conditions of employment
If you have an office education or another relevant education you will be hired under the then applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector Area (OAO-S Collective Agreement) and the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT employees.
If you are an academic, you are hired under the then-current agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state (the Academic Agreement).
Depending on your qualifications and competences, there is a possibility for negotiating a supplement. The position includes an employer-financed pension scheme.
The workplace is at Flådestation Korsør with a fixed place of service in Korsør.
As an employee under the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to some special conditions. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout your employment.
You as an employee have a duty to perform service outside the country, including at units in international operations with a view to involvement in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peace-making, humanitarian and other similar operations.
Your working time, as a rule, will be 37 hours per week, with the possibility of flexible working hours and home office days
