House Assistant at the Prevention and Rehabilitation Center Ulsted

At Prevention and Rehabilitation Center Ulsted we meet people, not diagnoses. We work holistically with a focus on physical, mental and social health. All everyday activities are considered part of rehabilitation, and we support the participants in maintaining or regaining functional ability by letting them do as much as possible themselves.

As a house assistant you will be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary and engaged team with respect for the individual. You will become a central part of the morning routines in the 24-hour unit, where your main tasks are to prepare and ready the breakfast for our six 24-hour residents and contribute to a calm, cozy and safe start to the day.

You will join a multidisciplinary team together with social and health staff and an occupational therapist, who provide the physical support and assistance the participants may need.

Your tasks will include

• Preparation and serving of breakfast for 24-hour residents
• Practical tasks related to serving and clearing up
• To create a welcoming and positive mood around the breakfast table
• To actively participate in the social start to the day and the morning community
• To support the participants' independence by letting them handle the tasks they can
• Tasks related to self-monitoring

Workplace address

Ulstedparken 13, 9370 Hals

The position is 12 hours per week. The hours are distributed Tuesday - Friday from 7:00 - 10:00 with start from 01.01.2027.

The center is closed on weekends and holidays. There is fixed summer vacation in week 29, 30 and 31, the 3 days before Easter, Friday after Ascension Day, and between Christmas and New Year.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary is determined according to the applicable agreement for FOA, concluded between KL and the Union of Public Employees

Prior to employment, a clean criminal record certificate is required and references will be sought.
