We are looking for a positive, service-minded and engaged house assistant for our dishwashing team.

About the job

As a house assistant you will be an important part of the team that ensures that the kitchen’s dishwashing, cleaning and food trolleys always meet our high standards. Your work is a crucial prerequisite for the patient to receive ”The right nutrition, for the right patient, at the right time”, which is the central focus of Bispebjerg’s Centralkøkken mission.

Your primary tasks will be

• Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment
• Diverse cleaning tasks in the kitchen
• Cleaning and preparation of food trolleys
• Packing food trolleys for distribution in the hospital
• Contributing to ensuring high hygiene and quality in all workflows

Who are we?

The kitchen at Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospitals is part of the hospital’s FM unit. The position reports to the operations manager.

We prepare all food from scratch with fresh ingredients and have our own bakery, green room, fermentation room and butcher. We are certified with The Organic Eating Mark in Gold and are working towards reducing the CO2 footprint from our raw material purchases by 50% by 2030.

For us, sustainability is a natural part of everyday life. We believe patients should be able to enjoy good food with consideration for the climate without having to decide for themselves.

You will become part of a large employee group consisting of, among others, nutrition assistants, økonomaer, professional bachelor degree holders, butchers, bakers, chefs and house assistants.

Employment terms

We are a workplace that is open all year round, and you should therefore expect shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays.

• 37 hours per week
• Working hours in the period 06:00-18:30
• Weekend shift every 3rd weekend, one day off before weekend and one day after weekend
• There are shifts on holidays
• Salary and employment terms according to applicable agreement with FOA for house assistants

The FM unit is not only a service organization; we are a part of the treatment itself.
